Pizza al taglio at Roscioli in Rome.  Hands down the best “street food” pizza in the city. I am particularly fond of the simple pizza bianca and pizza rossa.  “To Travel is To Eat”  — Michelle Shappirio An essential part of the exploration of any country is to sample the food.  There is so much history and tradition tied to every dish that often you learn more about the culture at a dinner than in a three-hour city tour. I take this study very seriously and in the name of research, I ate some incredible food while in Italy. Here is a little photo essay of some of the culinary delights I sampled.
